    So, anyway, I did follow your instructions, but I have two undesired results: first, all my extensions are showing on the toolbar where before I think I had an overflow icon (like you do in Google Chrome), and the bulk of the extensions would show up in a dropdown. Is that the way I have to access the Home button? When I click on that, I see the Home and Customize toolbar options. There's p lenty of space on the SSD, but should I be avoiding applications on there that do a lot of drive access? Anyway, I'd prefer that the Firefox installation be not deeply buried and perhaps on my system drive (although I'm not sure that's a great idea since it is a SSD). The recovery was done into a drive that exists, but in a folder that designated the source as another computer and another drive. To be clear, I had recovered lost data and files from another drive that no longer even exists. It seems Firefox used an old recovered directory in a drive where I had a previous installation of Firefox (so it is buried deep in a drive location I might have easily deleted because I don't use any of what I had recovered there. The process also revealed to me something in the compatibility.ini file that I never intended or desire.

    It was a major pain, and I had to re-install all my extensions. I'm not sure if this was really what I wanted to do.
